At Embrace Technology, we believe technology should bring people together—not leave them behind.

Founded in 2018 by William H. Stokes of Greensboro, North Carolina, Embrace Technology was born from a simple but powerful observation. After spending more than three decades in the technology industry, William witnessed firsthand how rapidly changing technology was creating barriers for many people, especially senior citizens. While large companies focused on innovation and automation, he noticed that many seniors were being left behind, struggling to keep up with devices, software, and digital services that had become a part of everyday life.

Determined to make a difference, William began hosting “Tech Talks” at a local senior living community. What started as educational sessions designed to help seniors gain confidence with technology quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Residents began seeking one-on-one assistance, asking for help with computers, smartphones, email, online safety, and other everyday technology challenges.

As word spread, so did the need.

William soon realized that the same personalized, patient approach that was helping seniors could also benefit local small businesses, entrepreneurs, and churches. Many organizations needed affordable, trustworthy technology support but often lacked the resources of larger companies. They wanted a partner who would take the time to understand their goals, explain things clearly, and provide solutions that made sense for their unique needs.

Today, Embrace Technology proudly serves the Greensboro and Triad communities by providing professional web design, dependable website hosting, and personalized technology support. Whether we’re helping a senior connect with family online, building a website for a local entrepreneur, or supporting a church’s digital ministry, our mission remains the same:
